BUS497 Internship Sport Management & Marketing-Capstone

This is a capstone course for students who have completed all of the Sport Management and Marketing curriculum requirements. The course has an experiential learning component where the student spends a specified amount of time with a sport organization in order to gain experience and understand the application of sport management in a professional environment. Students apply their internship experience and develop a sport marketing and marketing project to show evidence of knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies for the program. A total of 120 hours of experience is required for four credits. Prerequisites: Completion of core Sport Management and Marketing curriculum requirements and must be junior/senior status, or receive permission from the Director or Chair of the Program.
