BUS611 Strategic Management
Students will develop the skills necessary to formulate policies and strategies in sustainable competitive advantage. Real and hypothetical case studies of both manufacturing and service companies in domestic and international contexts will be considered. In addition, this course will involve recognizing core competencies of the organization, developing firm-specific resources for competitive advantage, and investigating the interaction of global markets and information technology. Prerequisite: must be admitted to the graduate management program or permission of the department Chair/Program Director
