CHEM113 Introduction to Forensic Science
Introduction to forensic science that focuses on the application of scientific methods and techniques to crime scene investigation and evidence analysis. Methods specifically relevant to crime detection and analysis will be presented. This may include collection and preservation of evidence, trace analysis (fiber, glass, inks, etc.), blood and drug testing, identification of fingerprints and arson accelerates, as well as DNA profiling.
