ED330 Literacy in Content Areas, Curricula K -12

This course supports pre-service teachers in integrating theoretical and practical approaches for teaching all learners. It enables pre-service teachers to use integrated language skills to improve learning in the content areas. Students review current topics in literacy, teaching and planning strategies, and the use of technology which will enable them to work with learners to improve literacy skills. Pre-requisites: ED250 and Junior Education Status. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required.
