ED469 Clinical Practice II
Enrollment in Clinical Practice II must be approved by the Education Department Chair. Clinical Practice II is a continuation of Clinical Practice I. Clinical practice is an opportunity for qualified teacher candidates to devote an entire semester to a full-time clinical internship in an approved school. Candidates will spend a minimum of 525 hours of clinical practice in a setting appropriate for their certification area. Candidates spend time observing, participating, and teaching under the direction of an effective or highly effective cooperating teacher as well as a clinical supervisor.Approval to enroll will be granted once all requirements are met. Requirements include a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better; achieving all NJ DoE required Qualifying Scores on each appropriate Praxis exam; successful completion of all course requirements. Please note that all coursework must be completed prior to enrollment in Clinical Practice II.ED469 is taken concurrently with ED477 during the Clinical Practice II semester.
