EDAS610 Managing the School Community II
The second course of the Management sequence will focus on the impact of earlier studies in the areas of school law, ethical issues, policy, finance, and facilities. The relationships of political, social, and ethical issues and how they impact on leadership and management principles will be the major emphasis of the course. The major emphasis will focus on: the rights of students; the rights of personnel; gender equity and sexual harassment; race; discrimination, religion, and recent developments in school law. It will also provide an overview of laws that mandate the success of students with varying social, emotional and economic needs.
