ENG247 Critical Reading

A setting where students can engage the literary texts they encounter as they develop the foundational skills necessary for subsequent literary study, including close reading, literary research, and familiarity with critical vocabulary. Opportunities will abound for practice in writing critical essays in conversation with class readings across all genres. 3 credits
