FN655 Research Methods in Nutrition
This course covers principles and procedures involved in research including grant proposal writing, planning, and design, methodology, and statistical analysis of research conducted in human, clinical, and community nutrition. Students gain practical application of research techniques in project management and research communications. Critical evaluation of published research is emphasized; students will complete a literature review on a topic of interest, which may be appropriate for use in future graduate projects. Prerequisite: An undergraduate course in Statistics.
