NURS203 Informatics in Nursing
Nursing informatics is a combination of computer science, information science, and nursing science.The goal of this course is to examine the student’s basic computer skills, informatics knowledge, andinformational literacy. The students will be assisted in learning the process of the management ofnursing data and the knowledge to support the practice of nursing through communication. Thecourse also introduces students to how information is used in organizations and how informationtechnology enables improvement in quality and timeliness of information..•
