PSY309 Cognitive Processes

This course is a study of the major concepts, research methodology, theoretical perspectives, socio-cultural influences, and empirical findings in human cognition. Topics will include attention, learning, memory, language, and problem solving. Students will also learn about current research in judgment, decision-making, and creativity. Students will also consider the practical applications of these areas of psychology to their own personal and professional development.Pre-Requisites: PSY100, PSY200, PSY201, PSY230/230L
