BUS604 Regulatory Compliance in the US Healthcare System
This foundation course identifies and explains the essential elements of the current U.S. healthcare system with primary focus given to regulatory compliance in healthcare. The scope of study ranges from hospitals, medical clinics, physician groups, home health services, hospice providers as well as laboratories, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and medical equipment suppliers. Course emphasis will be on the role of health management in meeting the complex regulatory challenges posed by rapid changes in the delivery of health care.
