ART220 Great Works of World Art I
This introduction to art history explores art from the world’s prehistoric times through the 14th century. Investigation of secular and religious themes around the world in painting, sculpture, decorative arts and architecture will reveal their similarities and differences. The focus will be 100 important works of world art prior to the year 1400. Lectures, discussions, DVDs, library and website research, and museum visits provide insight into the topic.
