BUS242 Accounting I
This course introduces students to the role of accounting as the primary language of business. Basic topics of financial accounting are introduced. The course reviews fundamental accounting theory, concepts and principles with an emphasis on the preparation and understanding of financial statements and their application to various types of business entities. Business ethics and internal controls are emphasized. Prerequisite: BUS100 Introduction to Business
