BUS603 Compensation & Benefits

This course provides an overview of total compensation asapplied in contemporary business operations, including theestablishment of compensation and benefits policy and theadministration of wages and salaries. Students will explore thewide range of financial incentives for employees at all levels thathelp to relate labor costs to productivity. In addition, there willbe an examination of the legally required and voluntarilyprovided benefit programs designed to cushion financial andother problems as well as the financial accounting for varioustypes of employee benefit plans.
