ENG107 Basic Writing
Guided practice in writing non-fiction prose, affording students opportunities to develop syntactic fluency and to grow more confident in their writing abilities. Writers will conference extensively with their instructor. This course is not open to students who have completed or who are enrolled in ENG 111, ENG 115, or any 200-, 300-, or 400-level writing course. Any student who has not successfully completed ENG 111 may elect to take ENG 107, but some students will be required to take ENG 107 as a result of their performance on their initial writing assessment.
