FN515 Professional Fitness&Training Assessment

This course will provide the basic principles of fitness for prospective fitness professionals. Students learn how to develop a personalized fitness program that includes body compositionassessment, weight training, stretching, and cardiovascular programs. Includes hands-on experience in conducting fitness assessments and muscular strength training. Discussion topicsinclude exercise risks and safety issues, among others. Students learn techniques for complete fitness evaluation in accordance with national guidelines and fitness planning methods.Prerequisite: FN 510
