MATH321 Discrete Math

Foundations of set theory and logic including quantifiers, truth tables, and valid vs. invalid arguments; introduction to proof-writing including direct and indirect methods of proof; additional topics include algorithms, combinatorics, relations, countable and uncountable sets, graph theory, functions, sequences, and trees. Prerequisite: MATH 255 or approval of program chair.
