MUS255 Joy of Bach

Presentation of the masterpieces of music literature composed before 1750, with a study of the relevant composers, styles, forms, and philosophical concepts that inspired them. Attendance at a musical performance or concert is required; students will participate in a field trip to New York City or NJPAC. Satisfies Cluster 1 General Education Requirement.
