This course examines the role of dietetics practitioners in promoting general health and wellness for individuals and groups through social marketing using media formats such as television, radio and print. Emphasis is place on the communication of evidenced based practice guidelines to consumers in a retail environment. Additional topics include the application of nutrition labeling regulatory compliance. Restricted to Dietetic Internship Cohort; offered Spring only.
