Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental/Pre-Veterinary

Program Overview

The Pre-Professional Programs at Saint Elizabeth University prepare students for admission to Medical, Dental or Veterinary school through a series of specific courses. Students will engage in academic content that prepares them for the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT), the Dental School Admission Test (DAT), and the Veterinary College Admission Test (VCAT). Courses in the sequence include Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics.

SEU recommends that Pre-Med/Dent/Vet students major in Biology, Chemistry or Biochemistry. However, students are not required to do so, and faculty can assist students in any major with planning their Pre-Med/Dent/Vet course sequence.

Due to the demands of the courses sequence, please contact your academic advisor as early as possible for information and guidance about the Pre-Med/Dent/Vet program.
