B.S. in Medical Imaging Science
A Bachelor of Science in medical imaging
sciences is a joint degree conferred by SEU
and the Rutgers University School of Health
Professions after completion of three years
at SEU followed by 15 months at Rutgers
University. Students have four programs of
study to choose from: cardiac sonography,
diagnostic medical sonography, vascular
sonography, and nuclear medicine

During the first three years at SEU, a student
must fulfill all of the general education
requirements of the University. The student
must also complete the following science
and mathematics courses required by both
institutions prior to admission to Rutgers
University.
Requirements (68-72 credits)
Total Credit Hours: 107-109
An overall grade point average of 2.75 (A=4.0) and grades of C or better are required in all of the above courses. More than one C is discouraged.
